This summer, Chase Bank and Air Force Clubs is launching an enhanced cash-back, Military Free Cash Rewards Program. Additionally, new club membership applicants can choose between a MasterCard or a limited-use Proprietary credit card. The new card option will be featured on new AF Club membership applications.

The card benefits associated with the MasterCard and Proprietary cards differ significantly. Those differences are outlined in the chart below. It should be noted that both these cards report to the credit bureaus.

Club Bank Card Information Fraud Alert
We have received word from AF Services that many AF Club members have received e-mails from a site fraudulently identifying itself as the Chase Bank Club Card Bank site. The e-mail requests the member to provide personal information using the premise that the information was required to complete an update of their account due to"inactive members, frauds and spoof reports". This e-mail message is a Fraud and should be deleted without submitting any response. If you receive a questionable e-mail from what appears to be Chase Bank, please contact the Gateway Club Staff at 645-7034 or 671-0771, for additional clarification.

Blue Star Benefit
Inspired by the World War II tradition of displaying a blue star in the window for each family member in service of their country, the Blue Star Benefit Program rebates all interest on purchases and fees charged during deployment in a military campaign. Because the Blue Star Benefit Program went into effect March 1, 1999, any military campaigns before the effective date (such as Desert Storm) will not be eligible.

Win A Scholarship
This year, the Air Force is awarding 25 college-bound students a $1,000 scholarship towards their tuition.  Current AF Club members & their family members as well as grandchildren who are dependents are eligible to write an essay as their entry for scholarship consideration.  Complete program information & rules are available at: www.afclubs.net or see the Gateway Club.  All entries must be submitted to the Gateway Club NLT Tuesday, July 1st.
